2004 Collection
This
spiral gold ring starts out as a 22 karat gold ingot shown below. It
is fed into a rolling press to create the band.
The ingot must be
gradually flattened, rushing this may cause the ring to be weakened and
possibly break.
After several passes through rollers, we see the result.

Gold Smelting
As I travel
the world, I love to collect beads. Each of my hand made pieces is an
expression of these encounters. These adornments are designed for body
and soul. I find working with color, glass, stone and crystal to be a
wonderful voyage for myself as well as for the collector of the piece.
Each bead is carefully chosen and represents a place, memory and experience.
An energy exchange first occurs between myself, the bead collector and
the piece, and finally between the wearer and the piece.
